Well, I was up for sunrise but in the car heading for work. Shame there was nowhere safe/good to stop as the light was great.

Thought it might be cool and somewhat timely to snap some shots of the evening awakening of the Mexican Free-Tailed bats down in Austin for their evening quest for food since the topic was Sunrise/Sunset. Though the Sunset itself is not visible in this particular shot, you can also visit the rest of the bat series by clicking HERE. There are some more artistic shots showing the cloud of bats as a blur against the sunset including the moon the frame. This one was just SO MUCH more Halloween focused, I couldn't resist
