For the 30th. The RNLI is a charity in the UK that performs a truly amazing job. Staffed by volunteers and paid for entirely by public subscription, they provide a first line of safety to mariners in the waters around the whole of the United Kingdom. They had a fund raising event today for their inshore station at Lytham, which is where I took these shots.

on commenting, I'm back on page 53.. I will get caught up hopefully today. Since I took many images
yesterday, and was up for 23 hours on that day trip, I've now got a LOT to do at home and have
a grandson and husband birthdays in these next 3 days. I have posted some extra images to finish
out the month since I'd just post them later anyway.

I also added a few extras that I didn't post during the month, but I won't post links. If you review the
whole gallery and spot anything new that's why.

Here is a link to the last image I'll probably have in the gallery, unless I see a fire truck putting out a
fire or a Harrier jet I've wanted to get all month.. lol.. There are several MORE new images, hope you
peek at them too.

It's been a great month.. thanks to everyone for the comments, emails and votes! Now I'm off to get
some things done and catch up and watch for the rest of the month!

I made it through the end!!

Even though I started a week late, it seemed like a long challenge.

Is this really it? The last shot of mine for the August Transportation Challenge? Enjoyed posting and seeing everybody's work on this challenge-
hard to keep up some times, but it blew some of the creative cobwebs out. Glad I did it and thank you all for your comments.
