A few words about commenting.

A large part of what makes the monthly challenges so much fun is that participants look at the images of other photographers participating and leave comments on at least some of them. For the most part comments in this and in past challenges have been complimentary, but there are also some funny comments that have been left as well as constructive comments. Also by looking at other images posted one can improve ones own photography. Friendships have formed this way and it has made the challenges a lot of fun. Participants are reminded about commenting at the beginning of each monthly challenge by the person that posts the challenge.

Unfortunately there are several people participating in this challenge who are only posting and not leaving any comments at all. This is really a pity as it affects the overall atmosphere and camaraderie. I would like to ask these people to at least comment on a few images of other participants.

Many thanks for your understanding and compliance.

Best wishes,

Walter

Words well said. The camaraderie and interaction is what it is all about. My personal rule (that governs whether or not I will participate in any challenge) is if I have time to commit to interacting, looking and commenting. I learn so much more by making sure I do this in any challenge.

Thanks Walter.

Hello Everyone,

Suffering a major bunch of IT-related issues at the mo  :( and my ISP seems to be heading down the pan, too  ...I need to get that sorted out over the next day or two but I'll post as and when I can, and try and catch up with all your uploads by the end of the week.

In the meantime, here's a pic from yesterday: http://www.pbase.com/image/125342497
