There are three types of balsamic vinegar:
1.Authentic traditional artisan balsamic vinegar, the only kind that may legally be described as Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale in the Euro-zone.
2.Commercial grade balsamic vinegars produced on an industrial scale. Usually sold in supermarkets.
3.Condimento grade products, which are often a mix of the two above.
When I gave up smoking, I saved my cigarette money and treated myself to a bottle of genuine, numbered and boxed Balamic Vinegar. Was it worth it?
YES! The flavour is unbelievable.
