As it was my suggestion, I feel free to open the thread for the April challenge:

April's challenge is CONTRASTS

Manage to capture two opposite things within one shot. This can be a variety of things. For a list of visual contrasts you may have a look at this link, posted by Brenda a couple of days ago:

But there are more than only visual contrasts, human or social for example, like happy/sad or rich/poor. It´s wide open.

A few rules / guidelines for the challenge:

Please name your contrast, such as old/new, cold/hot for example; or explain it if it isn´t so obvious.

Feel free to find a new contrast each day if you like.
Feel free to show the same contrast several times with a different example if you like.
Feel free to show only one contrast in thirty ways if you like.

Don’t forget to leave comments for other participants in the challenge. No posting only please, the challenge is about having fun and camaraderie, and to learn from other participants, so check out the images other participants post and comment on at least some of them.

PLEASE DO NOT DIP INTO YOUR ARCHIVES, THE PURPOSE OF THIS CHALLENGE IS TO SEEK OUT IMAGES AND TAKE PHOTOS.

Day 1 Contrasts of Colours and Sizes

wow it's April! a half hour into it for me, and I'm thinking this month we are going to have images covering
everything from A to Z .. all kinds of fun stuff to see.. so I thought I'd start off with a simple idea..
it's big/little, opposite ends of the alphabet, low and high values .. Happy April 1st everyone
