Weekly Informal Challenge number 213 is "Movement":

Thanks to Lynn H. for this theme. She more specifically said "combine movement and stillness in a single shot". This weekend go panningforphotographic GOLD. If you prefer feel free to FREEZE some FAST action or use a long exposure to create and capture slower less visible motion. Please keep it FRESH. If you're participating in the May: "Water/Liquid" challenge, this can be used to work on both at the same time. Remember (most of all) HAVE FUN.

I am shooting a charity event tomorrow and giving a workshop on Sunday, so I'll have to submit an image that I took on walk with a friend of mine yesterday. What I really wanted to do was some multiple exposures, but no time for that.

Seems like my good idea to create an animated GIF (of the bride and groom dancing) to post for this weeks challenge is blown out of the water by a Pbase glitch. I can't upload GIFs anymore and a search of the Q&A forum shows this is not a new problem (and not getting any response to emails).

Enjoyed the arrival of warmer weather with a visit to ithaca and Cascadilla Falls on Saturday.



Also had a great lunch at Moosewood Restaurant. You may have one of their many cookbooks in your home! YUM! Well worth the trip.
