Me too.

Refresh your page and the comment should appear.

However, I hope a member of the support/tech team can fix it!

I wrote to Pbase about this last night, but so far nothing has been done. I also complained that the number of comments under "Comment Management" has remained the same for almost a day now, despite the fact that I've received a number of comments in that time period.

I see you fixed this by refreshing the page. Sometimes there is a bad server that you get "tied to" that can cause the problem. I know that Pbase was using Akamai edge servers to cache content. If that is still the case then your computer can get an "affinity" to one cache server. This can be tough to disconnect from and might require a reboot, clearing your local network cache, rebooting your router and even sometimes that does not work - eventually the server will let go and timeout. This can also happen with caching/firewall systems like CloudFlare.com.

I get the same thing constantly, it started for me about 3 or 4 days ago. Plus when I try to click on a gallery I often just get a blank page.

I received an email from Slug in response to the problem which is appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know.
It should be working now.

We are preparing for a big upgrade of the database as well as moving to a
different datacenter. We hope the whole process will be smooth, but there
may be a few incidents like this over the next week.

We will soon send out more details about this change. Once completed,
everything should be faster, and we'll be able to start improving the
site.
