Shooting the Moon?

Post Fri Oct 01, 2004 7:24 pm

Hi,

I would appreciate folks looking at the following and letting me know which photo is more to their liking (if any).

Also, it would be nice to see other's attempts to capture the splendor that hangs above us.

Thanks in advance,
Ellsworth Weaver

I'd like to take better pics of the moon, but I think this is all my Nikon Coolpix can manage:

Decided to take a picture of the moon one very humid night. The lens fogged up and this is the picture that came out. Worth a kick anyhow.

Once the lens was defogged here was my best shot.

You moon #2

Hello,

wanted to say that I really like the 2nd moon option. If you did some enhancements to it it was well done.

Great work

Hi Ellsworth,

I like the colour better in the first shot but I like the sharpness of the second much better so I also pick the second one as better overall.

Here is my only moon shot. I had to work this image a lot to get even this out of it. If I take another one soon I think I will do much better now that I know some of the mistakes to avoid. Here it is anyway
