The only real connection I ever felt to Elvis was through those he influenced. I came along just a tad late to fall under his spell. But Elvis loved Hawaii and the feeling was and is still mutual here. There are pieces of the "King's" memoribilia around here everwhere and I found several right here in Kona. This is one of them:
