New Posting for the final days of Ambient Achromatic August

Due to a server error, the link for the postings for the final 10 days of AAA is broken so I'm starting this one to wrap it up. Just post your entries for the final three or four days here. You may need to post again if your last entry was on page eight of the final ten days of AAA.

Thanks to all who have participated. A special thanks to those who have stuck with it day by day. I hope it has been as beneficial and enjoyable for each of you as it has been for me. I'm proud to have been challenged by this fine group!

<b>What it is:</b> A month long personnal challenge in my PaD called "Ambient Achromatic August". Others are joining in. This is the posting for links for the second week of the challenge. These are the terms defined...

Ambient- pertaining to the natural or available light, light that exists without suppliment of strobe/flash/reflector, etc.

Achromatic- color that is distinguished by differences in lightness but is devoid of hue. Achromatic colors would be black, white, greys. (IR will fit nicely into this)

The idea is to capture natural interesting light (stripped of the distractions of color) focussing on light/contrast, composition and texture. IR will just allow the same result but open the entries up to light beyond the visible range.

Rules:

1. Have fun, be open, experiment and learn.
2. I am doing this as a PaD personal challenge but feel free to post outside of your PaD.
3. Post your daily links here. Include a link to this forum discusion within your image page.
4. Please only post the links or small images to keep from making the forum too lengthy.
5. Feel free to post or join in at any time.

Dear PADers
Sorry I have not had time to look at everyone's work this month. Thanks to Scott for setting this AAA theme off, it has been great fun. My wife and I have been preoccupied enjoying the last few weeks of her pregnancy and today it all came to a head. My submission for today (29th August) is of my wife Claire and out newborn son Samuel, who was born at 2.25pm GMT weighing in at a creditable 7lbs 14oz.
They're both doing well.
