Wed Sep 12, 2007 3:38 am My boyfriend recently sent me a photo of a fire in California, kind of a running joke for us right now. When he took the picture, the camera got knocked about and he had to pick it up before it had finished. The end result was a pretty crummy photo, but I loved what it did to the lights. With his permission, I edited the photo down in a way I liked better.
My idea is that whoever next decides to post takes a look in my gallery (http://www.pbase.com/ehreng) to see if they can find an image they'd like better if something in it was altered (come on, you know we all do it when we're looking through galleries). You've got my permission to download one photo, edit it and repost the original and edited result. I'm curious to see what comes up!

I'd never have thought to get rid of that orange, but I think it works well as a b&w. Not tooooo sure about the crop though.
