succesful Dutch/Flemish Pbase live meeting Rotterdam

The recent Dutch/Flemish Pbase live meeting in Rotterdamturned out a succes. Although we did not fill a stadium, the 14 participantshad a good time I believe. Organising it was fun and really no big deal. It was very nice to hear about each other's inspirations and frustrations, sharing Pbase experiences and techniques, gossiping about famous and less famous Pbase inhabitants and sharing good drinks and views.

Talking about views: Rotterdam provided some good photo opportunities. For some participants it was their first in-depth encouter with Rotterdam, for others merely homecoming. You can get an indea of the meeting by browsing the various galleries with pictures from the event.

Thanks Jeroen for organizing this. I had a great time meeting with 13 other "Photo nuts" from Pbase.
We talked a lot about our (mostly positive) experience with Pbase and why we published our work online.
Jeroen asked us the killer question: What is our ideal photographic day? It was interesting to see all the different views.
After that some decided to go to the Photography Museum while others started their Rotterdam exploration immediately.
This is an incredible experience, we all went to the same area but our respective pictures are all VERY different.
Some of us really wondered if we where in the same city.
This city, Rotterdam, is something special. I fell in love for its architectural beauty and diversity.
But no more blabla, just visit the galleries of the participants and you will see for yourself...

This is an event that will repeat itself I am sure as we all had a great time.
