Nikon 4.0 Basic Advice on Histogram Needed
Posted: Tue Dec 04, 2007 2:15 amI hope members don't mind this basic question. In this image, the shadows are way too dark as the sun was in the foreground. Literature on histogram's use assures me it's possible to lighten shadows without losing detail or washing out the whole photo.
I've been tinkering with the histogram. Every attempt I make to lighten the shadows here only washes out the entire picture.
If anyone could offer any advice as to what I'm doing wrong, I'd appreciate it very much.
