I bought a Coolscan 5000 a couple years ago. Scanned a couple hundred negatives over time

Working on a batch right now that my father had from 50 years ago.

All of the sudden, I'm getting an error message, "There was an error in performing a post processing"

Running XP, just updated the scanner software to 4.02 and still same message. I've swapped slides out just in case a slide was stuck or something weird.

Any thougths?

I hope it's not dead all the sudden.

I guess I should have added, the scanner stops dead in its tracks. Other than this error and stopping it seems to load, unload and do everything else fine.
