I wand to go Digital and sell my old film Nikon 8080, any suggestions as for how to sell it, or is there any chance someone will want it? It is in Tip Top condition.

You mean Nikon 8008, not 8080. They get about $90 on ebay, so I would keep it. It is a great camera, and it meters with manual focus ai Nikkor lenses. AND buy a digital. Keep the film camera as a creative alternative and at Walmart or other large supermarket have the negatives scanned digitally. At my local HEB I get good quality to scan a whole roll of 24 exposures.

I have an old Nikon FE as my film camera. See my album http://www.pbase.com/pierresphotography/polar Three of those photos are scans from film. http://www.pbase.com/slug also has some great scans, but I don't know how he did his. They are even better than mine.

The decision to sell or not depends on whether you think it will ever be used again. IMHO it's better to have $80-$120 in your pocket than a camera gathering dust on the shelf.

I made that mistake with much of my darkroom equipment, refusing to sell it for the incredibly low amount it was going for a couple of years ago. Now much of it is essentially worthless and similar items go unsold on eBay every day. They're nothing but clutter.

You can either try to sell it on eBay or trade it in to lessen the cost of digital equipment.
