I am wondering what size Screw Mount Lens is used on the Leica IIIf?

Don't know exactly what size (mm etc) it is, but it is the larger sized screw found on the old rollies, but reducers (a small screw insert that fits flush with the base of the camera), can be obtained from most good photographic dealers so that they fit the more modern tripods.

Tip: buy two, your bound to loose one. :D

Leicas uses the M39 LTM (Leica Thread Mount) screw mount which has 39mm threads.

Sorry, misread the post. Castledude is right it is the 39mm :oops:

Viogtlander do some realy superb screw mount lenses for the Lieca. http://www.cameraquest.com/
