If your photos are proper commercial photographic prints (rather than computer prints) you could risk putting them into a sink of cold water and this should separate them. Let them soak, don't force them apart too stongly.
A word of warning though, if they are old black & white prints, drying them flat will be a problem. However most modern B&W and colour papers are resin coated and will dry flat if laid out separately on sheets of newspaper. Never try this with computer prints as ink-jet inks are not usually waterproof.
If this doesn't work, you could get them reprinted if you still have the negs. Good luck!!!
