Ä°'m preparing to buy telezoom objective in a few days later after very very long searching :roll: And decided to buy 75-300 IS USM lens.. But is it available with my Canon eos 5,Does it use with only d-slr's :roll: :oops:

And Which other objectives can you suggest me :? :shock:

All Canon auto focus lenses can be used on both digital and non digital EOS cameras.
Lenses marked for use on digital cameras CAN NOT be used on film type cameras.

As for your second question:
Unless you are seriously into wild life photography, I think you will find a 300 mm a little bit OTT. I have used zoom lenses with 300mm focal length, but very rarely used them above 200mm.
Unless you can afford the EF 70-200 f/2.8 L, I would go for a normal EF 70-210 USM.
Also I would forget the IS facility, its not worth the extra money. Use a tripod or rest your camera on something, if hand held increase your exposure speed.
