VERY expired Velvia 50. Pitch it or shoot it?

I bought a roll of expired Velia some time ago and it's sat on my cool basement bookshelf ever since. It's expired by over a year now. Anyone shot Velvia this old? Will it be a mess or still good?

Opinions please.

there is a chance that it will be spoiled....but depending on what it is you shoot, it may yield some spectacular results!
