Shooting on Ilford 3200 film

Post Sat Dec 22, 2007 4:18 pm

I have a Canon T70 and the highest ISO setting is 1600, this is the only film camera I have access to, but I would like to shoot on 3200 night film for a current college project. Is it possible to load my camera with 3200 film, even if the ISO is 1600? Im guessing I need to work a stop down, but I thought i'd ask before I did so.

That should work just fine.
Nikon D300, D200
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D, 55mm f/1.4 micro, 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G DX, 80-200 f/2.8D
Apple PowerBook G4, MacBook Pro
Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop CS3

I've found that shooting Ilford Delta 3200 at 1600 produces a nice look, still grainy, but tighter. Fuji Neopan 1600 is also a nice film for night, low-liight shooting.
