Fujika STX-1, is it worth it?

I found an old Fujika STX-1 that was a bit broken up in a friend's basement. The poor camera has no winder (so I can't open the back) and nearly every lever on the camera is broken. The shutter button is stuck, the advance lever doesn't click, the timer lever doesn't do anything, and the hotshoe is wobbly. Besides those few problems it looks to be in okay condition.

My question is, would it be better to take this camera for free and repair it? or to buy a whole new model?

You're joking, right?

A ruined film camera these days is worthless unless you have similar working bodies that you can use the part on. Take a look on eBay and see what the camera sells for in working condition.

Thanks

Also, is a Fujica STX-1 a proper camera? The bodys sell for cheap on ebay, and I'm looking into cheap film cameras.
