Equipment afield

I have recently converted from point ans shot pocket digital to an old style Pentax. Over the winter I have ammasses alot of stuff. I know I can take it with me when I go afield so I have a bare nessessity list of thing. My question is what is the best way to carry, lets say two lens and a body anda coupe of filters. Looking for comfort in travel 10 mile+ hike, day trip atuff.
