Nice to see pictures of a Zorki 4. Too bad the ones that Slug included pictures of looks like it was fished out of the garbage.

This is my nice Type 3, with a nice shiney Jupiter 8 lens:

that one was sent to me from the Ukraine
it's not the most beautiful specimen, but it was cheap.

as for who can upload photos, right now with the exception of recent cameras, the leicas and a couple zeiss ikon cameras, i've photographed and uploaded them.
but the code is all in place to allow anyone to upload and have it automatically credit the uploader with a name and link. (see the full size photos at http://www.pbase.com/cameras/leitz for an example)

what's stopping me from opening it up to uploads from anyone is the work involved in monitoring what people upload. (non camera photos, incorrect cameras, copyright violations, etc)

i've added you to the list of people who can upload.
consider this beta testing, you're the only one in the list.
feel free to try it if you want.

if anybody else has photos of cameras they'd like displayed in the camera database pages, feel free to contact me at cameras@pbase.com

Slug,

Works just fine, added a few photos of my Zorki.

I'll photograph my Nikon FE and Olympus Trip 35 and add them.

Also if you create a place for my Universal Mercury Univex I, I can add it's photo as well....not that I use it anymore since it doesn't take standard 35mm cassettes and I have to load it in a changing bag from my bulk loader. [/url]

If they all belong to you Ray, and you use them, then ask slug, he will decide. Its also better if you have sample photos to upload that have been taken with the cameras, it gives prospective buyers a chance to see the end results.
