Question on Ricoh KR30 setting

I have a Ricoh KR30SP and a question. I know that by setting the lens at "P" and the speed control at "P" it's full auto,(not lens), but I have a Rikenon 135 telephoto that does not have the "P" setting. How do I set this up for an automatic exposure reading when the telephoto is on it? Also, I have another lens with an "A" on it where the "P" is one the factory lens. Same question.

just set the lens to its smallest aperture (largest number)
