I found even my brief visit an extremely rewarding experience. The exhibitions are relevant and stimulating. A working knowledge of Spanish will help with some. It’s also an enjoyable setting and space with a liberal, photo-friendly policy (photography ok but no flash).

If you’re in the neighbourhood, add it to your itinerary. Visit before 8th May and you can see a wonderful exhibition by American photographer Robert Frank.
