San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts

I grew up in San Francisco but only briefly went to the Palace of Fine Arts, but I had reason to be there
a couple of weeks ago for about 45 minutes and took some photos. This time, I went on the Net to learn more about it.

For any of you who might be visiting SF or interested in the Palace, I've linked to online full-book text and video
which give a lot of info I'd never read. It's the only surviving structure from the Exposition of 1915 and is being restored.




There are also links under some of the image titles to text about them.

The old books on this are sort of charming in their own right.
