Recreating Old Photographs

A while ago, there was a Kodak commercial featuring a couple that traveled to Europe to recreate a modern version of an old family photograph.

Does anyone know of any galleries on pBase where folks have done this? It seems like a cool idea, to travel around and create modern versions of old family photos. Just looking for examples.
