December 3: Topping up...

...the swimming pool. Due to colder temperatures in winter, I only do this once a month.
In the hottest period of the year, it has to be done weekly.
The pool can be used without heating the water April to November, then it becomes too cold. I do have a heater, but it's gas powered and expensive to use.

December 5: Clear Skies

A little too clear for comfort. We have had Santa Ana conditions for over a week with humidity below 10% at times.
Fortunately the winds have not been too strong and the two wildfires that started so far were put out quickly.
As of yesterday we are under stay at home orders from the state government. Parks remain open, so I will continue to go walking before dawn.
