I actually made Elvis's gold & platinum record awards for Colonel Tom Parker years ago when I worked in the industry.
They were replacements for the originals.

Probably still hanging up there in Graceland with my DNA on them.

Alas...no photos.

Elivs left the earth building, august 16, 1977 the same day my feisty Grandma Williams did 9 years later in 1986.... welll, i will have to do yet another tribute for King Elvis until thursday dude lee & dudette bev

Great idea, Ray! I was just discussing with a friend where I was when I heard the news when Elvis died....I was five and the memory is very vivid.
