Day 4 in the Life of ....Max - 13 today



Thank you for yesterday's comments - for those of you who enquired, the recipe for 'Blackberry Gin' is:

500g blackberries, 250g sugar, approx 500 ml gin.
Empty gin into a jug, feed the blackberries into the bottle, pour sugar in using a funnel, top up with gin to neck of bottle. Screw top back on, shake well each day til sugar is dissolved. Keep in the dark for three months. Filter the contents through muslin and rebottle the liquid, topping up with gin if necessary - leave for a further TWELVE (!) months.
Yummy with ice and tonic water.
