March 7. Today I had a bald eagle fly twenty feet away from me. I had a zoom lens and had it in my sight. I took the shot and suddenly the horrible realization that the shutter speed was still set to four seconds after taking some shots last night. By the time Ihad the camera set to take a daytime shot the eagle was gone....... AHhhhh! (It's only the second time I've seen a bald eagle in my life.)
