Back to colour today, with the same cold day as 2 days ago, but in the opposite direction. It may be darn cold, but it is hard to beat the clear blue sky we get in winter.

Blue Four...



I have heard from others (and seen in the forum) issues of diminished image quality after uploading images to Pbase. This and yesterdays are the first that I have noticed from my images. I could see pixel squares in yesterdays and today there is noise around the light fixture and in the blue sky. This is not showing up in PS when viewed in original/full size. I wounder if they have changed the method of image compression???

FOLLOW UP:

I found http://form.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40359 about "image sharpness problems" in the Q&A forum and followed the steps to strip the Exif and save and the quality improved. Look for the link to the shareware. Pretty cool viewer to boot.
