Regarding Point 4, I don't expect a lot of additional feedback just because I'm posting as part of the Thursday challenge.

Up until very recently I've been attempting, and usually succeeding in viewing everyone's entries, but don't believe in making a comment for the sake of it. But it takes quite a bit of stamina to go through all the entries over 7 pages!

I do try to do an 'out of the ordinary' interpretation for the challenge if I find that possible, but on occasions I do find some people's
entries seem to be made and then a caption fitted to suit! But that may not be the case at all - just the way my brain sees it.

I rather like this week's theme - I think it is quite 'abstract' and one that will guarantee a broad range of interpretations.

Cheers!

Ray

One of the main unwritten rules is that entries shouldn't be posted until Thursday :)

I love it when someone writes:

"Leaving on holiday today (Tuesday) so I'm posting this challenge photo a bit early..."

Now I'm not one to pick a nit, but this is a "Transglobal" assignment, and not all can be expected to keep digital camera clock time set to atomic GMT. Some may be forgiven for not even knowing what GMT is and therefore posting slightly out of sync w/ Rule #5 from time to time. Forum Gods might allow a modicum of leeway for those poor snappers on the opposite side of the trans globe.

One might hope anyway. :)

BUT THE MAIN RULE IS.....

ENJOY IT....HAVE FUN....GET CREATIVE AND ENJOY BEING CREATIVE...

CHALLENGE YOUSRSELVES to get out there and take a shot to fit the challenge not to find a shot which you took eons ago to fit....

all we ask is that everyone posts their
single,
taken within the 2 days notification shot.
here on a THURSDAY...
wherever you happen to be on a THURSDAY....

its that simple

The timing isn't important - it just must be Thursday somewhere.

Excellent, Dave!

I just wanna know why you post the rules and you get multiple thanks. But when I brought up the rules almost a year ago, I got publicly berated. And then, for the next several challenge weeks, I was scornfully referred to as the "Challenge Police".

Dave, maybe you can help me work on my people skills.

Thanks again!

I tried the same thing months ago and was accused of being the Pbase police. I think Bev seconding the thought helped.

I also think that the many interlopers have made the actual participants realize how much extra effort is being generated by people who don't actually participate the way most people do.

We've reached page 2 and there's only one posting!!!!! I'd better shut up

Now on with the challenge in the spirit of the challenge.

Hey, what was that theme...

Now I'm shuttin' UP
