Taking a shot of Lagoon Pond in the rain,
you can see the nature
of the raindrops as they hit the water,
they actually bounce off the surface tension
back upward into the air,
the drops fall back down and repeat this process
until the beads of water are so tiny, they just absorb into the water.
If you look closely, you can see some of the drops bouncing up
into the air!
