My shot for Friday.....trying to get out of town today...we will see. Gonna be a long trip. Normally takes about 2 hours and I'm betting it will take at least 5. Almost 10 inches of snow fell yesterday and last night. It has now stopped but still absolutely gorgeous out there. I'm going to do a test run in a little while to see if I can get out of this town. I hear East Texas is beautiful so I'm heading out there to see my sis!

Been out most of the day at Salford Quays and the Imperial War Museum North. Went to view the Don McCullin retrospective. If you don't know him, he made his name photographing wars in the 60's, 70's and 80's. From Vietnam to Biafra. There are some stunningly moving images of the casualties of war and if you're in the north of England its worth a trip.

The museum is a wonderful piece of architecture as well. I've a few shots to put up of the place, later.

While walking around the Quays, saw these kids, trying to avoid the Police Community Spoilsport Officers.
