I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your blue photos, and thanks for the many kind comments. Final blues for March...

Even cats have a limit when it comes to blue--I mean, sun ;o)

This is a crop of my blue heron landing photo, following a fellow PBaser's suggestion...I like it this way but wish it wasn't so noisy. Oh well, my birthday's in May, maybe I'll get a *real* dslr ;o)

As I say good bye to March, I will leave you with the house that my wife would like me to purchase. http://www.pbase.com/whiterosephoto/image/94938207

This has been a fun topic. Thank you all for participating.

I'd like to just say I'm glad I decided to check out the PAD forum at the beginning of the month. If I had not I would have not been inspired to start up another PAD gallery. It's been fun breaking in the new camera and I intend to continue. Thank you all for the inspiration. :D

And here is March 31st entry

A big thank you to Maaike who helped to initiate this topic, and to everyone who contributed with such wonderful interpretations. I really enjoyed them and looked forward to them every day. I missed out seeing them for a week and am slowly catching up on the comments for those. Thank you all very much. This is my final image for the month of March, though I will not close my gallery and will add a blue(ish) photo every so often. Drawing the shades on the March blues:

OK, I'm leaving the March blues behind and finishing off with an explosion of colour, including blue, to blow away the March blues. Thanks to Maire and Maaike for a great topic and also to all those who viewed and took the time to comment.
For the 31st March.....

Well, here is my last post this month. I almost didn't get the shot. First it was gloomy most of the day. Then it poured down rain with thunder and lightning. The poor tulip tree in my backyard took a beating. The petals were broken off of most of the blossoms; but, I got this shot with a residual raindrop. :)
