Jan 23

Wow, -23C / -10F today, but nice and sunny.
Hard to imagine that just a few days ago it was +12C / 54F

On a side note, I was going to head out to the dog sled races tomorrow, but am concerned that these temps will be too hard on the camera. It's expected to be -17C / 1F by afternoon - and doesn't account for any wind. The races are out in the open, so a whole lot colder if there's any breeze at all.

Any thoughts or experience? Thanks!

Um, the wind-chill factor shouldn't affect cameras, but I bet -17C is "outside operating parameters". lol. If it were me, I'd just try to keep a battery warm (relatively) and then make sure the camera warms up VERY slowly afterwards to prevent condensation forming inside. But then, you probably have LOTS more experience than I do with the cold stuff :)

Back to basics again...

Paint cards from the local home improvement store. White balance is a little off but...well, ok, I'm lazy.

Question: How does one post the image so it becomes the link to the image in the gallery? All I know how to do is post the URL and then post the picture, but the picture does not become an active link. How do I do that?
