My humble submission for this week. I had originally intended to find my old quick reference card for PalmOS' Graffiti (which could have kept the same photo title), but on the way to the grocery to grab some supplies, this rolled past me. Since I had to stop anyway, I figured I'd pull out the camera and shoot away in hopes that I'd find a boxcar with exactly what I found

Portland used to have some nice whales painted on the sides of a building(s) that I think have been torned down. I remember the city was debating if they could control advertising painted on buildings while somehow allowing art. I found a few examples of advertising that was pretty close to art.

But I had some feeling that this skateboard park might have some, and there are at least 4 nice ones, one where the riders actually hang, sort of.

"A Day Late and a Dollar Short" ... well, more like $300.00 short. My computer crashed on Monday and I just got it back from the shop late yesterday afternoon. I hope I can be forgiven for being a day late in posting my pictures for this week's challenge. I was going to skip this week's challenge but my friend Simon told me I should post anyway, even if I am a day late.
I am happy to report that my computer technician is a true wizard and I didn't lose ANYTHING. Got a brand new hard drive and video card installed so I should be "good to go" for the foreseeable future (Note to self: "back-up, back-up, back-up")
