Complete bs....

No one will see terrorist puling Canon 5D with 200 mm lens to take a shot of security guard. Some one will be lucky enough to see guy snapping the guard with 6MP cell phone camera. But then in 99% cases nobody just will notice it
They ain't so stupid these terrorists.

As usual only good people (photgraphers in this case) will suffer. No one will stop terrorist by doing this.

Michael.

Here in the UK, it's almost impossible to take a picture *without* a CCTV camera somewhere in the frame....

Thanks very much for the links. Interesting reading - the re-jigged posters certainly made me chuckle. I was disgusted when I saw these posters on the tube recently...what sad, pathetic fearmongering by the government.

I think every single photographer that I like is odd, judging by their photographs alone. Some very odd, some just a little odd...but wow, I'll be damned if their photos aren't interesting to look at.

I'm off to report the lot of them now, starting with Arbus. And the list includes a fair few PBasers!

That's it, game is up, I am guilty as charged. I expect the doorbell to ring any second now......

Actually, they couldn't have been more obliging and happy to let me take their picture!

This has just inspired me to name a new gallery after the government's phrase!

I saw this and thought of this thread...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7351252.stm

It hasn't happened to me yet but it would be worth knowing our rights, this was taken from the Feb edition of the UK Photography Monthly, with the same story of the hapless photographer albeit with a more positive spin on it.
