Passing Of Kent "Lion" Nelson

Just passing along this info I received this morning.

Pbaser Kent "Lion" Nelson passed away in his sleep yesterday (March 5, 2008) at his home in Redondo Beach, California.

Lion was a member of our San Diego photography group despite living
on the fringes of Los Angeles and would join us on our outings on occasion.

Someone who knew him better said:
"He was cheerful and didn't have a mean bone in his body."

His e-mailings were always topped off with cartoons of lions.
