December 11: On my way back...

...This is the view at about Mile Four on my morning walk just after sunrise.
In response to the Stay at Home order issued by the Governor of California, the morning walk and grocery shopping are the extent of my going out presently.

I love old houses, consequently I love the oldest part of Ottawa, where this photo was taken:

The Ottawa Valley is, to me, one of the most beautiful of the nearby areas:

December 12: Dark Morning

It was overcast and cold when I started my walk. After about 1 1/2 miles I briefly had this view.
Even without COVID, today is a good day to stay home, read, work on photos, and cook.
I also just peeled 16 Granny Smith Apples so Adelaida can bake an Apple Pie.

The manor

A (wo)man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his/her life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful. (free to J.W. von Goethe)

December 13: Tuna Harbor

Another favorite walking area, especially when the fishing boats are in.
