December 25 - Festive

No idea what the name of this plant is. It is likely that it is Australian in origin.
I thought it looked festive for the holidays.

December 28: After the Deluge

Part One of the first major Winter rainstorm. First good rain we have had in six months.
Everything was dry as tinder. The smell of the wet vegetation is amazing.
