Minolta Lens on Nikon Body

A friend gave me a Sigma APO 70-210mm 2.8 for Minolta, he said. I use a Fuji FinePix S3 (nikon body).
Is there a converter that would allow me to Mount this Minolta lense on my Fuji S3?

I had been looking around for a Minolta to Canon and found there is a problem very similar. The focus distance on the Minoltas and other makes is much different, so without modifications or adding a converter without magnification (which it seemed was hard or impossible to find) most other cameras won't allow focus to infinity with the Minolta lenses.
