For those who have a studio in their home...

I have a few questions if I may. How do your clients find you? How do you advertise? Are you doing enough business from the studio to make a living? How much space do you have dedicated to your studio?

Thanks to all!

Hi im not a pro on this, but i do have a bit of a home studio. I set up in my moms living room its not huge, but ok. I did some shots of my nephew for my mom and word has got round from there. I dont get loads of clients because i dont have the time as i work nights, but i had to turn lots down just before christmas. I made up some price list fliers and got some business cards which i hand out to friends and people i happen to mention my portraits to. Start by doing some family shots of friends of the family shots and the word will soon start to spread. Hope this helps.
