Lines going through on the sky

Post Mon Feb 19, 2007 3:29 pm

Hey everyone,

So, I was taking some night long exposure shots with my D200 and Tokina 12-24 along with my tripod.

I noticed my shots had something weird going on with the skies. Each range of light in the sky had hard lines to them with many of my shots when I looked at them on photoshop. As far as I've seen on the internet and searching forums, the closing thing I could find was that it was a type of banding, but not the type which had plagued earlier models of d200 (first run in and around dec2005-feb 2006 mostly) (I got mine in July 2006)

So, if you can check out the pictures, and help me figure out what it is, that'd be a great help. (the exif info is there too) Also, these were shot with adobe rgb ( I don't know if that makes a big difference.)

Thanks!

Shiv
