How do I download firmware into my 30D

I just don't know. It seems everyone else knows...But I don't know.

Would someone please enlighten me.

There should be a clear instruction where you download the firmware. Basically you need to copy the file onto a CF card (be careful where on the CF card to copy it so that the camera can find it - clear instruction is on the Canon site as I said before), then go to firmware update via Menu. Make sure you have a full battery or use the mains.
