Nikon D70s Exposure Compensation Problem

Post Sat Apr 28, 2007 3:38 am

I have a Nikon D70s and it suddenly seems to be taking darker pictures. I'm not aware that I've changed any settings, but where I would normally expect to be setting the exposure bias to -0.7 I'm having to start at +0.7 to get the exposure I normally expect. It almost seems to be metering as though everything is in shadow!

Any ideas of what might have happened? Have I changed something by mistake or is something going wrong with the camera?

Thanks.

I think I did something stupid with the metering mode. If anyone is interested holding the metering button at the same time as the BKT button, the D70s will reset to factory defaults.
