D80 and SD cards - questions

Post Wed May 23, 2007 9:57 am

Hi, since I'm planning to buy a new SD card I have the following quiestions

1, Does a 8GB SDHC card work on a D80?
2, Does the D80 support High-Speed cards(if yes, up to what speed)

Thanks for help

Yes the D80 does support SDHC. It is also rated at 3fps for up to 100 JPEG or 6 RAW. Most standard cards will support that rate, but I tend to buy Sandisk Ultra.

for downloading it on your computer. Maybe you need to look to install a new driver. I have a 4GB sandisk SD that is impossible to download without the extra USB transformer deliverde with the SDcard

Hi I've just obtained a Kingston 4gb SDHC (Class 4) and have found that it works very well with my D80. I also use SanDisK Micromate card reader which is specifically for SDHC.
