Questions about selling my photo's

I live in a National Forest, ( in the US) and frequently take photos of folks that do white water rafting in the area. Im considering now approaching these folks at their "take out" points on the river and offering them copies of the photos to purchase from me, since none of the rafting companies that do the tours seem to be doing this. Would I be violating any laws by selling group pics back to the group in the picutures, or by taking the pics without theirs or the rafting companies permission?

For legal advice you should contact an attorney to determine what licenses and fees are required to operate a business in your area. Also check with the Forest Service in order to discover whether or not you need a permit to conduct business on National Forest Land.
