POWERPOINT HELP

Post Tue Jun 12, 2007 8:20 pm

I will be presenting several "slide shows" to various photo and birding clubs within the next year using their digital projectors. Using Photoshop to edit my images:
1) what size do I crop the images to? (height and width) and at what resolution?
2) at what quality do I save them as JPEG's
3) any other info would be helpful
Thanks in advance for your help

personally i think that you don't need to resize or crop the photos to put them in Power Point. Just put the original photo in PP and if you need maybe you will just need to resize it in order to fit the page.
cheers

If you resize in powerpoint, be careful to hold the shift key down and drag from the corner so you don't distort the image.

Can you show from a computer with Photoshop. I did this from within bridge View as slide show. You do not have to adjust your images at all and you can show, tif, psd, and/or jpg. I just used the forward arrow to advance as I talked. It was super easy.

PS: I have some specs for PowerPoint. I will try to look them up and post them for you.
